Buchanan News!

So much has gone on since the last post, so I will not even begin to start there. But here are the current events. Parker is in third grade and loving it. He is playing football, piano and keeps very busy. Caden and Carter just turned five last week, wow those five years have really flown by, they are loving pre school, soccer and every thing else they find to do. We are expecting baby #4. We are adding another player to the basketball team, yes it is a BOY!!!! We are all very excited for his arrival this winter. Marc and I keep very busy just trying to keep up with all these active boys, but we are all doing well and life is GREAT!!!!

Our Football Star!

Wow, where does the time go? I can't believe Parker is old enough to play football. Well I should say the whole family is playing football. This is pretty serious stuff even at age 7. Parker is loving every second of it. He is playing quarterback on offense and linebacker on defense. It is so fun to watch him play. I guess it is time for me to learn this game. With 3 older brothers that played, I tried to ignore it, but now with 3 boys of my own I better learn it so I know what the heck is going on. They had their first game, we won 32-0. I must say it was pretty exciting.

Project Complete

The time has come again to make my year supply of raspberry jam. My dear mom came to help me, she is such a life saver! We did 3 cases of berries which made 48 pints of jam. My boys love this stuff.

Brigham City Temple

Wow! Who would have ever thought that little Brigham City would have a temple. I still can not believe it. What an awesome experience to be at the ground breaking. By some miracle we got seats right up front at the last minute. When the ceremony was over Carter said, "we can't leave, they have not built the temple yet." It was a perfect morning and a very special day we will remember forever.

A Chance To Give

Hey everyone! As many of you know Ben and Carol Huff's little girl Lizzie was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. She spent a significant amount of time in the hospital and is now home with a long road of recovery ahead of her. We recently found out that they were chosen as the benefit family for this weekend's annual high school alumni basketball tournament. A few of us were talking and wanted to try and help them out by raising some additional money on our own. We know times are tough and it is short notice, but any amount would be greatly appreciated. Ben and Carol are usually on the giving end of things, but now it is their turn to be on the receiving end. We are still alive!

Hello everyone! Sorry for long delay in blogging. Life just seems so busy, and there has not been time for blogging. Since fall started, we have celebrated all of our birthdays, had Peach Days, Halloween and Thanksgiving right around the corner. Needless to say we have had a party of some kind every weekend. Marc has been busy starting his new practice, and getting used to how things work. Parker has loved first grade, and has done so well. He also loved playing football. Caden and Carter love life, and just being best friends. As you can see I have been busy trying to keep up with all the madness. I love being mom to three great boys, and wife to the best man in the world. Here are several posts to keep you up to date on the Buchanan family, enjoy!

Halloween 2009

This year for Halloween Caden was Batman, Carter was a pirate, and Parker was Dan from Bakugon. They had blast!


Here are the boys out in the fields hunting for the perfect pumpkin. This one was Carters. Then they had a great time in the hay maze.

Parkers 7th Birthday

On Parkers birthday he had a flag football game. His team went undefeated for the season. Parker has loved playing football this year, and is so excited to play with pads next year.


After his game we had family football party with all the grandparents. He got the nintendo ds, with his favorite games. He was very excited.


Parker also had a friend party this year. The theme was Bakugon. It was a huge success! Happy Birthday Parker, we love you!

Marcs Birthday

For Marcs birthday I let the boys choose the theme, as you can see they choose Sponge Bob. We had a fun party, Happy Birthday Babe!

Caden and Carters 3rd Birthday

Spring Break

For spring break Marc also had the week off, so we took the boys on a little mini vacation. We stayed at a hotel for a few nights and enjoyed lots of fun activities during the day. The boys loved mini golfing at Boondocks along with kiddie kove, arcade and go karts.

Disneyland Adventure

For moms birthday the whole gang went to Disneyland. There were 23 of us. We all had such a great time. Here are a few of the highlights. Handy Manny was a huge hit. Parkers favorite ride was Space Mtn. Caden and Carter loved Buzz Lightyear. Marcs favorite was the Grizzly Rapids Run, and my all time favorite was Splash Mtn. The whole trip was wonderful, we did not want to come home.
