Our 8th Anniversary!!

Wow, hard to believe that it has been eight years since we tied the knot on August 4th, 2000 (and that's not including the 7 years that we dated before then). It doesn't seem like we have accomplished much in that amount of time (Marcus doesn't even have a real job yet) unless you count three kids (including a two-for-one), lots of school and even more debt. Either way what a ride it has been. Marcus and I were looking back at all of our wedding pictures the other day and reminiscing about what a special and magical day it was (as well as how YOUNG we look). It will definitely be a day we will never forget. The Lord has blessed us immensely over the past 8 years and we are so grateful for all of our blessings. I think we fall in love more and more every day. We look forward to whatever the future holds.

Summer fun!!

The boys love playing in the water and beg mom daily to take them out. Caden and Carter scream everytime we make them come in despite chattering teeth and blue lips. It's so much fun to watch them play (and usually fight) together.

Batter Up!

Parker played his first year of T-ball this year. He loved playing and always hit clean-up. He can't wait to play with the pitching machine next year.

Parker and Tyler waiting to bat.

Parker's Preschool Graduation

Parker graduated from preschool in May. Here he is with his teacher Miss Michelle. He loved going to school and is starting to read. Miss Michelle said that he was the most popular kid in the class (and the tallest).

I'm off to kindergarten!!

American West Heritage Center

The boys had a great time at the American West Heritage Center. Here is Parker testing his hatchet throwing skills. He was one of the few kids who were able to get the hatchet to stick.

The boys loved all of the animals.

Trip to the zoo

We made a trip to the zoo the other day. Parker's favorite animal was the "Ghost of the Bayou" otherwise known as "Antoine". Here he is next to the other crocodiles. Caden and Carter had fun hatching out of the egg at the playground.
